Molly's Story.

Molly is out of the Dainoak Kennels, she came to us in Febuary 2008 aged 12 weeks old. After two years of research into the breed and a year of communication with her breeder we went to see the litter of  puppies not intending on coming home with a puppy but Molly chose us . We wanted to see how our children coped with the size of such a large breed, bearing in mind our youngest daugher was a tiny baby at the time.  we needn't have worried about the children as Molly has been a nanny dog and incredibly protective over her human puppies. Since she arrived she has been everywhere with us except to the shows as she is not show marked, we never had the intention of showing her she was always intended to be a much loved family pet. She's had always shown huge potential as a mum. Even when a puppy as she would mother any fluffy toys instead of destroying them like most dogs and mothered our children, particularly our youngest. She has completed the Kennel Club Good Citizenship Bronze and Silver awards and has gone training with my wife and I prior to us completing the Welsh 3 Peaks Challange and the National 3 Peaks just last year, she loves the long walks, but sleeps like a baby for the rest of the day afterwards.

Molly has had 2 litters for us now, with Zeus coming from the first, and the last was born in Feb 2014 all are doing well with one of her puppies being placed VHC at Crufts 2015. She is gentle and caring with everybody  Molly has retired and is growing old disgracefully loving nothing more than galloping through the mountains and sand dunes and is incredibly fit for her age, she shows no signs of slowing down.

Molly Dainoak Lux et Veritas

Molly has opened up a new world of experiences for us, on viewing a large litter of puppies she sat down in front of our eldest daughter and chose us whilst all the other puppies were busy playing with a frisbee, we chose her at ten weeks going back to collect her at 12 weeks and the children adored her straight away. She had been a constant companion, teaching our youngest daughter to walk and enjoys cuddles as well as long walks on the beach, cycle tracks, foot paths and up mountains. She is not a fan of water however and stops short of getting more than her toes wet at the beach while watching Zeus and Aayla playing in the sea, she has been a charity mascot and walked several mountains whilst gaining attention and raising funds along the way.
